HIGH COMMISSIONEBSHIP MR WItKTNSON’S ATTITUDE NEW PLYMOUTH, Last Night. A denial that he would be appointed High Commiissioinier after the election was made by Mr C. A. Wilkinson at a political meeting to-night. It had never been suggested by the Government, Ke said, and he did not think the Government had ever considered it. If the position were offered, he could not accept it.
