The Weather Forecast
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND COLD (Per Press Association), WELLINGTON, This Day. The general inference is that barometers have risen steadily over most of the Dominion, but a slight depression is now moving on to the southern area of New Zealand. An intense anti-cyclone still covers the eastern portion of Australia, and tile western section of the Tasman Sea. The forecast is for moderate to fresh westerly to southwesterly winds; weather mainly fair, but scattered showers inland; cold temperatures; seas rather rough.
