Annual Rugby Tourney PLAY AT WAIPUKURAU TO-DAY CENTRAL H.B. SUB-UNION The annual seven-a-side tourney, conducted under the auspices of the Central Hawke’s Bay Rugby Sub-Union, took place at Central Park, Waipukurau, today.

The tourney, which is recognised as the Hawke’s Bay seven-a-side •championship, attracted entries from all parts of the province, 19 senior, 17 junior, and 9 third grade teams competing. The weather was dull, with a few light showers. The weather was not i sufficiently inclement, however, to ■affect the attendance, which was quite satisfactory. Fast and interesting football was witnessed in all grades, and the spectators were well pleased. A feature of the afternoon was the Hawke’s Bay footballers’ 110 yards’ sprint championship for the Limbrick Cup.
