TO-DAY’S RECIPE
ROSE PYRAMIDS. Mince finely l-41b. of walnuts, add 3oz of castor sugar, the white of an egg (beaten to a firm froth), 2oz of cornflour and enough rose essence to flavour, adding a little cochineal to make the mixture a light rose colour. Shape into pyramids and bake in a very slow oven for 20 minutes.
