BIG WORKS SCHEME
IN AUCKLAND TO ASSIST UNEMPLOYED (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Last Night.** A programme of works estimated to cost £782,00, spread over three years, was submitted to the City Council to-night by a committee set up to consider unemployment in the city. A list of suitable works was submitted by the city engineer, the details being referred to various committees.
