DAVEY A highly successful clearing sale of live-stock, etc., was held at Lindsay this afternoon on behalf of the Public Trustee as executor in the estate of the late Mr. W. H, Davey, the H.B. Farmers’ Ltd., in association with Hoadley, Son and Stewart, being the auctioneers. 2-th to 5-year ewes, r.w. S.R. rams, 24/-; 2-th to 4-year ewes, r.w. S.D. rams, 27/1; 120 fat and forward lambs, 17/7; 51 5 and 6-year ewes, r.w. rams, 19/6; 67 5 and 6-year ewes, r.w. S.D. rams 22/-; 80 f. and f. lambs, 15/10; 263 f. and f. ewes, 12/8; 3 aged draught horses, two mares and one gelding, £lll.
