BUTTER MARKET FIRMER CHEESE VALUES QUIET The London butter market was quiet but steady last -week, prices recovering the decline of 1/- during the previous week. The market at the close of the week showed a firmer 'tendency, New Zealand salted closing at 89s to 90s. Deliveries of New Zealand butter last week totalled 1460 tons compared with 1169 tons for the previous week and 1777 tons a year ago. ' Australian deliveries amounted to 1054 tons against 2018 tons a year ago.
