DEPARTURE FOR AUCKLAND ENTH USIA&TIC FAREWELL (Per Press Association.? WELLINGTON, Last Night. General Evangeline Booth was given an enthusiastic farewell on her departure for Auckland by the Limited express to-night by a large gathering of members of the Salvaltion Army and the general public. “I shall never be able to forget the campaigns and gatherings since coming to New Zealand,” said the General. “I feel that God has answered, not only your prayers but mine also. I shall always be filled with memories of the- sweetest nature. ”
Among the hymns sung at the trainside was. at General Booth’s request, “We’ll never let the old flag fall,”
and as the train drew out the band played a verse of the General’s own song, “The World for God.’’
