YOUNG MAN ARRESTED ON WEDDING EVE LONDON, October 20. A man remanded on a charge of housebreaking was taken from a cell at Preston (Lancs.) Police Station to be married. Throughout the ceremony a detective stood beside him. Then, after a tearful parting with his youns wife, the man went back to his cell. His wife, a sixteen-year-old mill girl,, went ■ back to her parents’ home. To-day she : s working at her bench again. William Henry Moore, aged twentyfour. of Preston, was the bridegroom.
