STORE RAIDED
VERY EARLY THIS MORNING
THE BURGLARS DECAMP
( Per Press Association. > TAIHAPE, This Day. Brophy's store at Hihit'ahi was raided at about 1 o'clock this morning and the till broken. A sum of £3 was stolen, also a quantity of cigarettes. Brophy was awakened by burglars who heard him and decamped hurriedly in a stolen motor-car. Two escapees from Weraroa Training Farm are suspected, and the police are chasing them north.
