DETTON DEFEATS BROWNING FAST AND EXCITING CONTEST (Per Press Association.) WANGANUT, Last Night. In one of the most spectacular exhibitions of wrestling seen in Wanganui, Dean Detton defeated Walter Browning by two falls to one, Browning securing his fall in the sixth. The match from hegining to end was fast and exciting, and at the conclusion the audience showed its appreciation im no uncertain manner. At the stadium, Dan Koloff, the giant Bulgarian, defeated the Japanese Oki Shikina, in the third round after only 15 minutes of actual wrestling, by two falls to nil. The Japanese was unable to continue. Tom Lurich defeated Joe Dawson by two falls to one at the Leichardt stadium.
