TIMARU RESIDENT’S DEATH
FORKS OF CYCLE SNAP Press Association.) TIMARU, Last Night. As the result of the front forks of his bicycle snapping, John McCann, a resident of Timaru, suffered injuries that resulted in his death in hospital last night. The accident happened on a flat stretch of road. Deceased’s injuries consisted of laceration of the brain, a broken nose and the loss of a number of teeth. He was cycling slowly at the time and it is hard to account for such extensive injuries. a
