REPRESENTATIVE GAMES BUSH DEFEATS WAIRARAPA (Per Press Association.) CARTERTON, Last Night. Bush defeated Wairarapa at Carterton to-day by eight points to five. It was evidently Wairarapa’s unlucky day, for they crossed the line seven times in the first spell, either losing the ball or landing in touch in goal. WELLINGTON’S SUCCESS BY A NARROW MARGIN (Per Press Association.) HAWERA, Last Night. A try scored seven minutes before time gave victory this afternoon to the Wellington Rugby representatives, who registered 13 points with three tries (two converted) to Taranaki’s eleven points, two tries (one converted) and a penalty goal. Taranaki led ,11 —10 at half-time. The Wellington scorers were Barry (forward) two tries, Dellabarca (for'ward) a try, and Griffiths two conversions. Ford (three-quarters) and Young (forward) scored tries for Taranaki, Collins (full-back) converting a try and kicking a penalty goal. WIN FOR DANNEVIRKE DEFEAT OF PUKETOI (Per Press Association.) DANNEVIRKE, Last Night. On a rain-soaked ground the Dannevirke Rugby representatives to-day defeated the Puketoi sub-union representatives by 11 points (all scored in the first spell) to nil.
