MAYOR THREATENED
BY REVOLUTIONARY GROUP LETTERS HANDED TO POLICE (Per Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The Mayor (Mr. D. J. Sullivan, M.P.), stated an election address last night that he had received a large number of anonymous letters containing serious threats against him by a revolutionary group in the city. These letters, he said had been handed to the police.
