* CAPTAIN APPOINTED FOR FIRST CRICKET TEST (Per Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, March 10. The. New Zealand Cricket Council has appointed M. L. Page captain of the New Zealand team to meet England in the first Test. The hours of play will be 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., with the usual luncheou and tea adjournments.
