RUGBY FOOTBALL
<g> CLUB AT ELSTHORPE FRIENDLY FIXTURES PROPOSED A meeting of those interested in the formation of a football club was held recently in the Elsthorpe Hall, Mr P. Hayden occupying the chair. It was unanimously decided tc form a club, Mr Gordon Cooper being elected secretary. It was arranged to hold a dance on the 24th inst. to obtain funds. As there are quite a number of promising footballers in the district, it is anticipated that some enjoyable matches will be played with teams from neighbouring districts. il I imi ■■ ■ —IWWT M l '" i'»■n ww*«i mi jirwry- ■ t-arr r<***smnr
