ANOTHER ATTEMPT
ON CAPE AIR RECORD VICTOR SMITH ALOFT LONDON, March 9. Mr. Victor Smith has started on another attempt to beat Mrs. Amy Mollison's Cape record. Victor Smith left Southampton on February 7 on an attempt to break Mrs. Amy Mollison's Capetown record, but when in Algeria he smashed the under-carriage of his machine and the propeller when landing in the darkness.
