HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS I HAVE BEEN DISAIISS ED LONDON, Mwi-ch 1. Hundred.- of thousand o’ Russian industrial workers have been dismissed as a disciplinary measure, states the Riga correspondent of “The Times,” The Soviet has ordered a further reduction in the number of industrial labourers and also a cut in wages. The dismissals must be completed by March 3 in accordance with tho reduced staffs stipulated in the modified plans for 1933. The authorities order that collective contracts must be cancelled if the wages exceed the planned limits. The dismissals have been made in order to accomplish wage discipline, fifteen enterprises being 20,000,000 roubles behind in wage payments.
