PARADE IN NUDE
TO CITY OF WINNIPEG DOUKHOBOR LEADER'S THREAT WINNIPEG, March 7. Peter Verigin, the spiritual and temporal ruler of the Doukhobors in Canada, will request a Royal Commission to investigate the whole of the Doukhobor situation. He said here to-night that if his request were refused he and 16,000 followers would parade in the nude from their western settlements to Winnipeg. Mr. Verigin is enroute rome from Halifax, were he was released recently following a legal fight to prevent his deportation to Russia.
