Miss Margaret Follow, of Wanganui, is visiting relatives in Waipawa.
Miss G. Pickett is at present on a holiday visit to Waipawa.
Mis Maudsley, of England, who is spending a few months holiday in New Zealand, is at present residing with her uncle, Mr J. Maudsley, Takapau.
Alaster Kenneth Christie, son of Mr and Mrs 11. M. Christie, Waipukurau, has been successful in passing his • matriculation examination at tho unusually early age of 14 years. He was , formerly a pupil at the Wilder Settlement School, but for the past few years has attended the Wairarapa High. School (Masterton).
