THE PAIRS TOURNEY PLAY REACHES SIXTH ROUND The second day’s play in the Napier Carnival Pairs bowling tournament was productive of some very close finishes, many of the games being' in doubt until the last bowl was played. At the end of the day’s play it was found that there were only two undefeated pairs. Crombie (Havelock North) in section A., and Evans (Kia Toa) in Section B— — but as both these pairs ’nave yet to meet very strong opposition it is hard to predict the ultimate winners. The concluding rounds in section play will be played to-day, and the bowling public are assured of some really interesting games.
