WARMER CONDITIONS The following is the weather fore cast for 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day and issued at noon: — Tho indications are for variable and moderate breezes and later northerly moderate winds. There is a prospect of fair weather, probably becoming warmer. Tho barometer shows little movement.
PRESSURE HAS FALLEN ANTI CYCL( >N E LESS ENED (Per Press Association) AVELLINGTGON, This Day. The general inference is that the pressure has fallen slightly over lhe Tasman Sea. and New Zealand, so that Ihe anti-cyclone which has controlled the weather for the past few days has lost its intensity. At the same time tho depression in the south-eastern portion of Australia has deepened and appears to bo moving slowly eastward. Tho forecast is for light to moderate and variable winds, but north-wester-lies gradually prevailing. with the weather fair to fine and temperatures rising, seas smooth to moderate.
