TRAGIC END AT SEA
LOST OVERBOARD A NEW ZEALAND PASSENGER SYDNEY, Last Night. During the voyage of the Marella from Singapore to Sydney, where she arrived to-day, William Barber, a New Zealander o. prominent rubber planter, was lost overboard a day out fom Darwin. Fellow passengers gave evidence at a formal inquiry on hoard that Barber was depressed owing to losses and the inability to obtain employment.
