America to the United Kingdom during the first half of May were as follows: — AUSTRALIA Carcases Mutton 44,516 Carcases Lamb 48,376 Quarters Beef 68,615 SOUTH AMERICA Carcases Mutton 13,911 Carcases Lamb 29,595 Quarters Beef (frozen) Nil Quarters Beef (chilled) .... 187,466 The shipments from Patagonia were nil. The shipments from New Zealand to the United Kingdom for the same period wore as follows: — NEW ZEALAND Carcases mutton 143,329 Carcases Lamb 506,445 Quarters Beef 9,134 The shipments from South America to the Continent of Europe during the same 'period were: Mutton, nil; frozen beef, nil.
