The following were charged with theft of groceries only:—Sutherland Peden, Henry Fehsenfeld, John Scott Moodie, Evan David Davies, and Idris Davies (all miners), Robert Kaweroa, Heta Tarawhiti Peter Raumati, Gray Karend, Joseph Berryman, Taiki Whiu, (all labourers), Brynley Kinson, Francis George Stevens, Horatio Swindells, Thomas Morgan (all

miners). Evidence of the store manager was given, detailing the raid on the store. The case is continuing.
