ONGA ONGA NEWS
ETTCHEE AND DANCE (From Our Own Correspondent). On Monday evening in the local hall the girls of the Onga Onga Basketball Club held a most enjoyable euchre and dance for the purpose of raising funds for the club. Though dancing commenced at 8 o’clock, quite a number of people availed themselves of tne opportunity of playing cards, the prizes for which were as follows:—Ladies’ prize, Mrs A. Freemantle; men’s prize, Mr H. Robb. Consolation prizes went to Miss R. Cossar and Mr Milae. Music for the dancing was supplied by Mr A. Hutt. Extras were played by Miss Joan Tierney, Miss Jessie Ross and Miss Bessie Crow. . A bountiful supper was provided by the girls of the club. , „ Personal ; Mrs Dawson has now returned home after receiving treatment in the Waipukurau Publ.e Hospital.
