THE PAKEHA
BERTHED IN WELLINGTON A SURVEY IS PROCEEDING (Per Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. A survey of the Pakeha is proceeding at her berth, King’s Wharf. She sails on Friday via Cape Horn. There has been an inquiry into the circumstances of the leak, but the local Shaw Savill Office stated today that a statement is not to be made. The company is emphatic, however, that no damage was done to the cargo.
Instead of arriving in London on June 24 the Pakeha will now arrive about July 8.
