STOLEN WATCHES
ECHO OF RIOT MAN COMMITTED FOR TRIAL (Per Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. Frederick Gordon Thomas Brown, aged 20, a labourer was committed to the Supreme Court for trial on a charge of stealing two watches, part of the stock of Mary Daubney taken from the shop during rioting on May 10. Bail for £2OO was allowed.
