SCOTS WHA HAE
DUKE OF EDINBURGH
OLD ROYAL TITLE REVIVED
LONDON, May 23.
The “Daily Express” understands that the King has decided to confer on his fourth son, Prince George, the title of Duke of Edinburgh. The announcement will probably be included in the issue of the. list of Birthday Honours, but it may be deferred till the Prince’s thirtieth birthday on December 20. The King has chosen the title as a special tribute to Scotland, which is not represented by any of the Royal Dukes.
