OLYMPIC GAMES
N.Z. ROWING CREW APPOINTMENT OF COACH (Per Press WELLINGTON, Monday. At a meeting of the council of the New Zealand Rowing Association tonight it was decided to appoint Mr. C. Healey, of the Union Boat Club, Wanganui, as coach for the New Zealand rowing team for the Olympic Games. It was also decided to assemble the crew at Wellington on June 1 for a fortnight’s training prior to sailing on June 14.
MIDDLE-DISTANCE RUNNER
EXPENSES GUARANTEED
(Per Press Association) WANGANUI, Monday.
Don C. Evans, the middle-distance runner, will attend the Olympic Games. His expenses were guaranteed at a meeting to-night.
