CHARGE OF THEFT
AGAINST EX-SOLICITOR
A REMAND GRANTED
(Per Press CHRISTCHURCH, May 21
Charles Firth Woodhead, aged 29, ex-solicitor, of Christchurch, and described on the charge sheet as radio announcer, appeared before Mr H. A. Young, S.M., yesterday, charged that on or about February 20, 1931, he committed theft of £B5, the property of W. and L. Anderson trust estate. Accused was remanded to appear on May 31. Bail was fixed at £2OO. He was ordered to report daily to the police.
