LAUNCHES FOUND SINKING
BORED BELOW WATEE LINE
WILFUL ACT SUSPECTED
(Per Press Association) WELLINGTON, Last Night.
What appears to be a case of wilful destruction occurred at Worser Bay. Two 30-foot motor launches which were anchored in the bay were discovered this morning to bo in a sinking condition. The boats wore beached, and an investigation disclosed that, holes had been bored in the hulls beneath, the water line. The holes were not verybig and were probably made with, a brace and bit or auger. The interiors of both launches were considerably damaged l?y sea water.
