EX-PREMIER GAOLED DEFALCATIONS TN LITHUANIA KOVNO, May 17. Following six years’ investigation and a trial in which there were 100 witnesses, the former Premier of Lithuania, Vytautas Petrulis, who was accused of defalcations while in office, was sentenced to eighteen months’ imprisonment and ordered to pay £2050. He was alleged to have received money from traffickers in alcohol, also for import licenses for cigarettes and yeast.
