SYDNEY, May 17.
Wizard Smith received a cordial welcome home by many friends upon the arrival of the Zealandia to-day. In an interview he said he was confident of breaking the record upon his return to New Zealand at the end of the year. “I have not lost faith in the beach; there is none in the world to compare with it.” He expressed grateful appreciation of the hospitality accorded him during his stay in New Zealand.
