HANCOCK RETAINS WELTER

SYDNEY, May 16.
At the Stadium to-night the fight for the lightweight championship of Australia and the Lord Beauchamp belt between Bobby Delaney (9.9), the title-holder, and Bobby Blay (9.10), the challenger, ended in a draw after a t "nd:?! fight. Elay was mostly the rygiwesor and much blood was drawn.
In the State welter championship Wally Hancock (the titleholder) obtained a decision against Roy Burns, who was outclassed. The fight was stopped in the fourth round.
