THE FEILDING SALE At the Feilding sale on Friday Associated Live Stock Auctioneers Ltd. had a medium entry of fat lambs, a good yarding of fat ewes and a small entry of fat wethers, all of which were sold. Prices in all sections of fats were maintained.

There was a good yarding of store

sheep, consisting chiefly of breeding

owes and store lambs. Ewes r.w. Romney rams were not keenly sought after several pens failing to meet the vendor’s reserves. Store lambs met with good competition. A good yarding came forward in the dairy pens, but only anything showing quality was sought after, inferior sorts not being wanted. Fat Wethers: 9s 6d. 10s 6d, Ils 9d, 12s 6d, 13s 4d, 13s 9d, 14s Id. Fat owes: 6s 6d, 6s lOd, 7s 7d, 7s 9d, Bs, Ss sd, Ss 6d, 9s Bd, 10s 6d. Fat lambs: 9s Id, 10s 4d 10s 8d„ Ils 2d, Ils lOd, 12s 6d, 12s lOd, 13s, to 14s 6d. Single entries: 15s to 15s Bd.

Fat Cattle. Fat. calves 265, 28s, 30s, to 37s 6d; fat heifers £2 3s.

Store cows: P.A. cows r.w. P.A. bull 12s 6d to 25s 6d; S.H. cows r.w. P.A. bull, 275; 18-month P.A. steers 32s Dairy cows: 28s 6d, 30s, £2 ss, £2 10s, £4 2s 6d, £4 ss, to £5 15s. Cows in milk: 30s, £3 ss. Springing heifers and heifers r.w.b.: £3, £3 10s, £4, £4 2s 6d to £4 15s. Weaner Jersey heifers: 16s, 1.75, 18s, 21s, 255, 275, 28s, 30s, 31s, 375, £2 to £2 ss.
