FATAL MISHAP
TO A MARRIED MAN WHEN A RIFLE EXPLODES (Per Press Association) INVERCARGILL, This Day. Ernest James Leslie. (33) married, accountant for the Perpetual Trustee Co., was fatally shot this morning. He was removing a loaded rifle from a motor car when it exploded, the bullet entering his chest. He died soon after being admitted to a hospital.
