FOR MOASCAE CUP MATCHES ALL BLACK NOMINATION DATES. (Per Press Association) WELLINGTON, Thursday. The management committee of the New Zealand Rugby Union met tonight. Col. Guy Powlcs, writing' from London, regretted that he could not consent to the allocation of the Moascar Cup to a. competition between teams from the New Zealand Navy. He could see no possible connection between the Navy and the Army teams which competed for the cup at Moascar in 1919. Sub-committees for the ensuing year were appointed as follows: —Referees, Messrs Wylie and Kitto; finance Messrs Deans, Wylie and Leith; outfit, Messrs Deans and Kitto; reinstatement, Messrs Roache and Kitto. The two Maori trial matches arc io b',* played on June ■" and on July 2. The latter will be a possibles v. Probables game. In connection with the forthcoming British tour, the committee decided that North Island nominations must reach the hands of the secretary by May 4 and that South Island nominations must be made by May 12.
