PAIRS TOURNAMENT WAIPUKURAU CLUB OPENING DAY’S PLAY The Waipukurau Bowling Club commenced its Easter open pairs tournament in beautiful weather yesterday, 32 players competing. The green was in good order, and although a trifle heavy, there was some fine play. Before starting, Mr W. Lourie (president) welcomed the visitors, and paid a warm compliment to Mr J. V. Richards, the secretary, for the excellent arrangements. Fine weather is again in evidence to-day, and the green should play splendidly. The following are the scores:— r
