NOTICE TO ALL UNREGISTERED MATERNITY NURSES. JJNDER Section 13, Paragraph (c), of the Nurses and Midwives Registration Act. 1925, those women who are not registered as midwives but who dosire to continue in practice as maternity nurses, can be registered as such if they prove to the satisfaction of the Nurses and Midwives Registration Board that they have for not less than twelve monthc prior to Ist January, 1926, been regularly engaged in practice as maternity nurses in New Zealand. They must apply for registration not later than the first day of January, 1/27, forwarding the necessary certificates as to experience', and enclosing a post office receipt for the registration fee of £l. Any person omitting to make such application will be ,after that date, debarred entirely from practising unless after undergoing the necessary course and passing the State Examination as prescribed by the Regulations under the above Act. All intending to register under this section of the Act arc reminded that applications must be in the hands of the undermentioned on or before 31st December, 1926. Forms' of application and for payment of fees can be obtained from the offices of the Department of Health, Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin and the undersigned. J. W.
