The Royal Humane Society of New Zealand has made the following awards: —Robert F. Duckworth, bronze medal for rescuing Harold Parkes from drowning at St. Clair beach, Dunedin. 11th December, 1922; Leslie R. Hender'son, letter of commendation, for recusing Douald White from drowning at Dunedin, 6th January, 1923;Daphne M. Aburn, silver medal for rescuing Clarence Jordan and Arthur Gossett from drowning, at Sumner on 24th January, 1923, and for 'rescuing John E. Williams from drowning at Sumner on ’2sth January, 1923.
