Otane Surprise Company who lasi winter staged some very enjoyable ci-m-.erts, have re-organised and are putting on a. concert in aid of the YVtir Memorial Fund on June 2nd. All the performers are keenly rehearsing a very enjoyable concert. The concert will be followed by a donee -and euchre party. The progressive euchre will be under the direction of Mrs. Mansfield, trophies having been donated by Mr. Malenor, Mr. Wright, and Messrs. Bruce and Rough » * » ’fhe metalling of the town street is non almost completed and will be ti great improvement during the wetweather. The Council is also having the main street graded.
