Stock Markets. WOOUVII/LK. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., re port on their Woodville sale of 10th inst. as follows : We offered a fair yarding of sheep and a large yarding of cattle. There was very little demand, and the bulk of the stock were turned out unsold. Quotations ;—Empty ewes 12s 6d, empty cows £2 10s to £4, store cows £1 Ss to £2 ss, springing heifers £7 to £7 ss, heifers in calf £4 3s, weaners £1 Is to £1 10s. I’AIIIATLA. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Pahiatua sale of 11th inst. as follows: We offered a large yarding of both sheep and cattle. There was an improved demand for sheep and a satisfactory clearance was effected. A good clearance was made in cattle, but in most cases values Avere lower. Quotations ;—2, 4 and 6-th breeding eAves 14s 6d to 18s sd, 4 and 5-yr ewes 12s to 15s 9d, sound mouth eAves 11s to 13s Gd, empty ewes 16s, 2-th Avethers 15s 6d, woolly lambs 7s Id to 10s lid, b.f. lambs 9s 7d to 9s lid, small lambs 4s Id, 34-yr steers £7 to £7 15s, 15-raos steers £2 2s, weaners £1 Is to £1 7s, dairy cows £5 12s 6d to £6, fat cows £6 10s to £6 12s 6d, empty cows £z, £2 19s to £3 6s, heifers in calf £2 10s to £3 11s, yearling heifers £1 to £2 6s.
