TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS.

The following arc the train arrangements now in force : Napier Line. arrive. The morning trains from Palmerston (arrivingat 5.55 and 8.1 a m) connects with the oxji)ess leaving Auckland at 12.10 p in on the previous day and arriving at Palmerston at 3.19 a m, but involve a wait of some hours there. Prom Thames and Rotorua, the same trains. DEPART. For Auckland—2.ls p m (connecting with the express to Auckland at Palmerston, and arriving there at 6.13 next morning) and 9.57 p m (connecting with the Auckland express in Palmerston at 12.26 a m, and arriving at Auckland at 2.55 p in next day). , For Thames and Rotoua, the j same trains.

NM3.—The express trains stop at very few stations, and passengers tor wayside places will need to consult the time-tables to find out how they can best reach their special destinations. N.B. — For those who desire to avoid the long night runs to or from Auckland, the best method to adopt would be to travel by the expresses leaving Auckland or Wellington in the day time and stop at Ohakune lor the night, going on by the trains passing that place next morning.
