The Daily Chronicle’s Dardanelles’correspondent sayS bn 7th May the Allied ships penetrated Naristglar Bay, and bombarded Chanak, Kilid Babr, Nagara and Kalessi, at close range with considerable effect. The Turks were driven to the woods.behind Krithia, wffere they were severely bombarded. The fighting continues far inward from Gaba Tepe, bnt oui s hold on the ridges is secure.
