Wellington, April 27. The members of the Bisley team left for England by the Ituapehu to-day. At a farewell gathering held prior to their departure, speeches were made by Hon. Geo. Fovvlds, General Godley, and Colonel Collins. This day. Ronald Black, aged 17. son of James Black, private secretary to the Hon. D. jtfuddo, hanged himself with a starp in the bathroom at his parents' residence at Kelburne shortly after luncheon yesterday. '■• J Auckland, April 21. A child four years of age, daughter of Mrs Faulbyurn, was having tea •when the sleeve of her dress caught fire at a lighted candle. The flames were quickly extinguished, but the child was badly burned, and death ensued from shock. Whangarki, April 27.
