MR WALKER’S SALE

NEXT SATURDAY.

Messrs Crowe and Bliss, who are holding this sale, desire us to particularly remind our readers that it is to take place next Saturday, and not, as at first advertised, on Show Day. That advertisement was altogether the result of an oversight, and an alteration was promptly made in the date as soon as it was noticed, for the benefit of both Show and sale.

While there are many good lines for sale in house-furnishing matters, we would specially draw attention to the poultry which is to be offered. Mr Walker has been an enthusiast in poultry matters, and has been a more than usually successful breeder of white' Leghorns, having taken prizes all round at the various shows with his birds. These he is now offering, and so an opportunity, such as is not often met with, presents itself to people who are anxious to get hold of a line of handsome birds of a first-class laying strain.
