STOCK REPORT. 1 Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report * on their Masterton stock r»'p -s fallows :—Notwithstanding the hud weather l> stock was yarded in excess of advertised numbers. Ridding at the start, of the sale was dull, but improved as the sale ! progressed. The yarding of lambs was large, and the quality right through was good, all lots making full rates. A large yarding of wethers met with good competition, as did all good sorts of ewes, i The entry of cattle was small and little business was done. We quote;—Sheep; Lambs best, shorn lls lOd; others, , shorn, lls, 10s lOd, 10s Bd, 10s sd, 10s, 9s 9d, down to Bs, poorer sort 5s to 7s ; woolly lambs, 8s 6d to lls 4d ; fat ewes and wethers, mixed, 17s; best store wethers, IGs 8J ; others, 15s to 16s 6d ; ewes in lamb, sound-mouth, 14s 4d to 16s lOd; forward empty ewes, lls Id to 12a 9d.
