Natal Native Trouble.
THE NATIVE DISTURBANCE,
A STORE LOOTED,
Capetown, May 27.-
Agents on the Rand have engaged hundreds of natives at Delagoa at high wages. Colonel Mackenzie, with 800 mounted and 600 native levies, went to Tillestand’s store, 25 miles south-east of Nkandhla, and found that the chief Bambaata had looted the store a few hours previously, without disturbing tbe» local natives’ kraals.
The natives report that Batubaata is seeking for Indaba and. Dinizuln.
The Telegraph states that Colonel' Mackenzie has asked the Government for two thousand more men. in; order to organise flying columns.
