A Sensational Voyage.

SAILORS STRICKEN WITH TYPHOID. Sydney, May 7. The barque Taloa, which arrived to-day, 104 days out from Igniqne, had a sensational voyage. Several of the crew were stricken with typhoid shortly after leaving. Two of them died. The voyage was protracted owing to the crew being shonhanded and boisterous weather being encountered. Provisions ran low, though they were not exhausted. The captain of the Taloa say a his signals were misread at Tahiti. He only reported typhoid, not smallpox. After leaving there the weather continued dirty. The crew gradually recovered, and are now well. On arriving at the beads the vessel was ordered to proceed to Geelong, but the captain decided to put in to replace the dead men and replenish provisions. The Talca is quarantined pending her departure for Geelong.
